My partner and I made a commitment to try the same dishes at both places so as we could compare the quality.
Safe to say the food at The Dunes was much higher quality, and prices were relatively equal across the two venues.
Keeping in mind that the two venues offer very different experiences, the tavern - being a pub - is much busier and louder, with a different (rowdier) clientele, so not a place to enjoy a relaxing, quiet dinner like The Dunes.
Drinks are also more reasonably priced than the tavern.
Customer service is equally pleasant and welcoming.April 03, 2017
